Antique photograph of a woman on milk glass and cased and also in removable frame. Unusual! This nice photograph image has a faux leather covered case which is lined in vintage silk and velvet. The framed photograph can also be displayed sitting up in the large case. The silk is starting to fray so examine images I am posting. The case measures 5"x 7"x 1.25". The nice brass frame fits exactly into the velvet side of the case. The frame measures 3.5" x 4.5". The photo image on milk glass is surrounded by an oval brass frame and a painted black glass mat. Unfortunately no identification of this attractive woman. Her clothes and hair style look circa 1870s. The frame has a brown velvet back with fold up stand so it can be displayed separately outside the case. See images.
