Handsome Cast Iron Muster Geschutzt Trivet
11.5 x 3.75 x 1.25" with three legs 1 pound 12 ounces German, circa late 1800s As seen on p.186 of Trivets & Stands, rated Rare
Faint hint of Muster on reverse of Sun face There are two small 1/8" stress cracks in lower lattice and one 1/8" stress crack in the upper swirl. They are barely noticeable.
This trivet displays beautifully!
