I purchased a Large collection of antique and vintage catalogs and ephemera, and will be listing them over the next several weeks! Be sure to drop in now and then to take a look.
Item: This is an Old catalog from the Manhattan Electrical Supply Company, with their main offices and showrooms located at 17 Park Place in New York, a branch office at 110 West 42nd Street in New York, and another office located at 188 Fifth Avenue in Chicago! You can see the front cover in the pic above, and inside you will find page after page of electrical supplies such as; telegraph keys and related accessories...

Oak wall phones, telephones bells in oak boxes, receivers and mouth pieces for the old oak wall phones, a few candlestick telephones, cast bronze pushbuttons for door bells and such, burglar alarm switches for windows and doors, fire alarm boxes, alarm clocks, home medical apparatuses (now referred to as “Quack” medical devices), dry cell and wet cell batteries, electric motors, desk fans and ceiling fans, flash lights, irons, glass insulators...

There are also porcelain insulators, electrician’s tools, light fixtures, light bulbs, and Loads of other related items!
A Great piece for your collection!
Age: Uncertain, it is not dated, but a lot of the catalogs from this collection were from the 1917 to 1925 era, and with more oak wall phones than candlestick telephones inside I am guessing this one might be from that era or possibly even earlier.
Size: 4 ¼ by 8 ¼” with 168 pages
Condition: While looking through the booklet, I found that one sheet was torn out, leaving pages 95 and 96 missing, but all the rest are intact. There is some minor wear and soiling on the front cover, with a little white paper stuck to the left side, some light edge wear, and a small tear at the spine. The pages inside are quite nice.
Shipping: $4.00 for First Class Mail within the US. Non-US Shipping is via Priority mail so the item can be insured, and that will be based on a weight of 8 ounces. If the final bid is below $30.00 I will ship this First Class International if the winning bidder agrees to accept any liability for loss or damage in the mail. If you win more than one item, please wait for my invoice with a combined shipping cost so you don’t overpay.
