Antique Celluloid Advertising Mirror
Buckwalter Stove Co.  c.1890's
This is an oval-shaped celluloid mirror from around the 1890's to early 1900's.     It is advertising Enameled Stoves made by the Buckwalter Stove Co. of Royersford, PA.  The printing on the front states:  "An Enameled Range beautifies and modernizes your kitchen"  There is a beautiful picture of an enameled range in the middle, flanked by a laurel wreath in gold.  Below the picture is "JOS. M. SCHAIN  Berwick, PA."  Along the sides in white is printed "The only manufacturers of enameled stoves and ranges in America". and "Buckwalter Stove Co. Royersford, PA. Makers of the original plain range".
The mirror measures approx. 2 3/4 inches x 1 3/4 inches.  There is some minor cracking of the celluloid just above the name near the bottom of the front.  The print is in excellent condition.  The mirror glass is still intact and in one piece with no cracks, but the silver has fallen off over about half the mirror surface (see photo of mirror).   

Buyer pays $3.50 for shipping and handling.   We do NOT ship internationally. We'll put it in a padded box, inside a padded envelope for protection before shipping it to you via first class mail.
