Antique Chinese Blance De Chine Dehua Porcelain Statue
A very nice early 1900's Chinese white "blanc de Chine" porcelain statue. Beautifully glazed and detailed, it has been mounted to an ormalu metal base that looks to have been a lamp at one point. The figure is in very good condition with only some small chips to the removable hands. The Chinese made these figures with removable hands for that reason, since the hands often broke, that way they could replace them when needed. Statue and base measure 12-3/4" inches high with the statue itself measuring 9-3/4" inches high. A very nice piece of porcelain.
