Bring a grand historic cultural statement into your life with these genuine more than 250 years old, massive 8 foot rare heavy solid teak wood antique 18th Century Chinese temple doors with decorative iron and brass riveted hammered metal including the classically stylized Tiger figures. The Tiger God was viewed as the Protector (excellent Divine force for protective Gates), the King of all Beasts, Lord of the Mountain and God of War.  Each door is adorned by Chinese prayers of divine protection (see photos) Large hand hewn heavy iron hinges, fittings and hardware. Hand hewn nails. Once the gates to a noble palace or temple sanctuary.  Circa 1710 - 1750s. 101" high X 30" wide X 2" thick, each.
