Selling is a wonderful antique Chinese Export tankard. The tankard measures 5 3/8" tall and 4 1/4" across the rim. The piece is handpainted with a wide band of flowers and butterflies at the rim. The hand painting around the body of the tankard shows a Mandarin palette garden scene. The handle is handmade,overlapped and attached to the tankard. The piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The painting is in very good condition. The inside bottom of the tankard shows some stable cracks in the porcelain due to age. This would make a great addition to your home or collection.
