This antique Chinese export oval Sterling Silver Filigree Dish is composed of silver wire fashioned in an intricate design with flowers, insects, and scrolls around a central solid oval plate cartouche with applied raised wire. In the cartouche is a stylized design of two dragons flanking a flaming pearl. Made circa the mid-19th century, there is a 3-part Chinese maker’s mark on the underside. Dimensions are 8 x 6 x 5/8” h.  Weight is 121 grams.  In excellent condition with no damages, breaks, or repairs.
