Whom ever made this little doll loved babies !

Fabulous Antique baby doll is a full 12 inches long, almost the same size as a tiny tears doll only a tad wider. Yes, she has seen better days but then again who hasn't and for her age she looks very good. She does have chipping at the seam line of the top of the head. There is still compo there but the hair is missing probably about 1.5 inch. She has light curly molded hair but the color has faded in areas quite a bit. 1 crack at the base of the skull but not very long about 1 inch and is not wide at all. Ears are close to the head and seem perfect yet faded. Skin coloring is great she has a lost some color on the end of her nose and a tiny chip on the left cheek. Lips are puckered and have lost the red coloring in areas. Her eyes are beautiful blue green hazel tin (  I believe), they are the flirty  kind but slow. They are  also the sleep eyes, that part works great. She has all her eye lashes and they are one piece small lashes with perfect eye lids. Her neck has some paint off at the very top. Her limbs have paint off where they attach to the body. The body itself is in excellent condition except two small straight lines on her bottom wich is just faded paint color.  She has 7 perfect fingers the others are in place but have tips missing. She has a small hairline crack by her left ear. All toes are present but the big toes are very thin on paint. She is fully jointed and her head falls back if you don't support it like a newborn baby. She is assembled using some type of metal rod to hold the limbs and I think the head in place. I know i just wrote her up like she is really bad but I like her just the way she is. It is such a nice antique. I just want you to be aware that she is not going to look like a new Berenguer doll or something !

Her outfit is outstanding. It is a bonnet made of thread that was crochet probably by hand . It is in fairly good condition. It has no stains ! There is a pink ribbon to tie on the top and on each side to secure the bonnet. The bonnet is a shade or two lighter than the dress but they are both an ivory color. The dress is also a thread type crochet It is trimed in two different shades of pink one a light baby pink and the other a little rose or light lavender.  In the back are 3 smalll crochet flower that fot into the back of the dress like a button would. The outfit may have come from different time periods  because the bonnet is more limp or it may have been washed more but they do look great together.  She also has booties that match the dress they have stretched a little over the years but a little ribbon would keep them on better. She doesn't kick her feet too much any more. (Just Kidding )
