Offered is an antique Dazey Butter Churn, No. 40

 
 Glass jar reads: "DAZEY CHURN No. 40  Patented Feb 14, 22 - Dazey Churn & MFG. Co. - St. Louis Mo. - Made in USA.  The handle has 30-40 H on it - the top says 40 B. 
 
There are no chips or cracks on the glass jar; the rim of the jar is smooth and the gears turn fairly freely (if you run your finger around the rim, you will feel a minor rough spot, but not major).  The lid sits squarely on the glass jar. The bottom edges shows some minimal scuffing from normal use (the bottom of the jar is plain/no flower design).  The screen is present on the lid and original.  This churn is in very good condition with only some minor discoloration on the handle & lid portion (pls. see all pictures); the wooden paddle has no stains and looks great!
