This is a very beautiful ladies bar pin, from the Art Deco period, from the 1920's to 1930's. It is solid 14k white gold, with very nice wire work and filagree work on the top opf the black enamel and also very nice filagree work on the sides of the pin.
There is a genuine natural clean and white old cut diamond in the center, which weighs around 5 points. The pin measures 63.7mm or 2.50 inches in width and it weighs a nice and solid, 7.2 grams in total. It is really clean and nice without any damage to the enamel or the diamond, and the gold is also perfect.
If you love deco as much as I do, you will love this pin.
I know GOLD is high, and prices seem crazy, but just think back to when it was $450 an ounce and you stopped yourself from buying because you thought gold was too high, THEN! You could be kicking yourself, when gold gets to over $1000!!
