This listing is for a beautiful Cut Glass Dome Top, Covered Butter Dish.
The Plate has a scalloped saw-tooth edge. The edge has a border of caned diamonds separating the hobstar patterns. The center has 3 cut flowers and leafing with caned centers separated by 3 hobstars. All deeply cut.
The Dome Top has a large diamond cut finial surrounded by hobstars and diamonds with caned centers. The lower portion has 2 cut flowers and leafing; and 2 hobstars. All deeply cut.
The plate has nicks on some of the saw-tooth points and where the scallop dips, one of the tiny teeth is missing. (Where the scallop dips, the teeth are tiny) This is barely noticeable. The bottom side of the plate has some shelf wear. The top side of the plate has 2 manufacturer tiny pin point size dings.
The dome top has a well worn flake at the lower bottom, about 1/2 inches long as noted in the photo above. Other than the above, the Butter Dish is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks. The diamond cut finial is in perfect unmarred condition.

This piece is quite heavy weighing approximately 3 pounds 2 ounces with packing materials.
