Antique Dutch Hanging Oil Lamp.

This beautiful used Dutch oil lamp is in perfect working condition!

Fabulous Art Nouveau gilded cast iron shipping oil lamp.These lamps were often used aboard ship and in Dutch it has the name "Schippertje" which means little ship. They are more compact then the oil lamps that were made for domestic use although these lamps were of course also for domestic use. It has white porcelain shade, a perfect working brass burner, white earthenware oil container and a glass chimney.

All in all a true eye catcher that will look great aboard ship or in your home!

A rare and elegant cast iron ceiling lamp from the European Colonial era.

Easily adapted for use in a modern house by running an electrical wire from the ceiling and suspending it from beneath the weight. A normal globe can then be used to illuminate the shade. It could also be converted by setting a globe holder in place of the existing kerosene lamp fitting.

The lamp has no weight, so you can not pull it up or down. The size of  the lamp is 100 cm (39.4 inches)

The shade measures 28 cm ( 11 inches)
