About MeMY SELLING POLICY

This is a very used Set of 4 Antique early Victorian Solid Silver Egg Spoons.  They have fiddle pattern handles and mandolin shaped bowls.  These would also make ideal preserve spoons or mustard spoons for reaching into tall jars.

Date:                  1838                      

Makers Marks: D.P (David Phillips)                

Dimensions:      5 inches long in total, the bowls 1.5 inches long and just over 0.75 inch wide at their widest.  They weigh a total of 60g    

Condition:     One is in good condition, 2 have a few dents to the bowls, and 1 has a surface blemish which is an identation with scratching which looks to have been polished out on the back of the bowl.  All do have slight surface scratching which is only to be expected on metal items and commensurate with age and use           

Remarks:     A very used set of 4 antique early Victorian solid silver 171 year old egg spoons, and a nice set for any collector   

Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used.  Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark.  I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in "as new condition".
