Antique Embroidered Woman Parasol Boudoir Pillow Panel

Up for auction...a FABULOUS, authentic antique or vintage pillow case or pillow slip...........it's OLD!  However, I can't say for certain just how old it is......the directions on this panel definately date it back.........! I do know that it is certainly ONE of A Kind!

It's made of silk, I believe....the fabric is a bit sheer and it looks like silk to me, but I can't guarantee it to be.  It may be rayon or some synthetic fiber...or a silk/rayon blend.   I'm no fabric expert.   This work of art is unfinished.  The entire piece of fabric containing the front and back of the pillow measures 29" x 19".   Finished, the pillow would measure 17" long x 13" wide or thereabouts.    It looks like the woman's figure was stamped onto the fabric and perhaps  painted.  I would guess that the project is 60% completed.......there are areas on the parasol that need chain stitching and the flowers on the skirt of her dress are not completed. 

This item is in fabulous condition........I have not laundered it, it is offered to you just as I found it.......no stains, holes or flaws.  I am thinking this pillow would look fabulous laying on a bed with  an antique or French Country Chic decor.   My photos should adequately depict this item's condition, please feel free to ask questions!

  This item has been stored in a smoke and pet free facility for many years, but I don't always know the history behind some of these things prior to it's being in my family's possession. Please ask questions before you bid and I'll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability!
