Just arrived from England, a stunning, thick solid oak
carved architectural piece that I would use for an intriguing wall hanging!
The shape is positively fascinating and the hand
carved designs are quite beautiful, with an original finish that has developed
a spectacular patina over the past 100+ years!

Of course it would be a stunning wall hanging and
certainly as a focal point in any room.There is a handmade twisted wire that was used as a wall hanger…..but
actually I think I would hang it the opposite way, which would require adding a
hanging wire at the other end!

The carved piece has normal signs of age
and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections that can be expected in a
piece over a century old. The backside is rough in places where it was
obviously another part of something at one time…a true antique architectural
enigma!!…..I always provide multiple photos that should
be considered as part of the description and I encourage you to email me with
any questions you might have prior to bidding.Please keep in
mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality
material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character….NOT for
like-new condition!!!
