Antique Teapot made by HJ Wood at Burslem. This beautiful little teapot was made between 1896 and 1897 according to the Rd.# 270354. It has the Knot Mark with the letters " H J W B" in between the loops of the knot. It has an iridescent tin glaze over earthenware. The flowers have pink in them, although you can't tell from the picture. There are two tiny chips in the glaze, one on each side, both are in the same spot on the petal of the large flower. It is also missing the lid. Given it's age I'd say it's in very good condition. I'll be happy to answer any questions. Please visit
