It has a traditional beveled cornice with attractive carvings above the door and on either side. The door has a large beveled mirror and lovely decorative hardware. On the sides there are beautiful surfaces with gorgeous carved decorations. The bottom has a large smooth operating drawer constructed with dovetail joinery and featuring two lovely ornate handles. This piece may have some minor age appropriate wear (as shown in pictures) but overall it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. We have chosen this carrier to use for shipping because they specialize in shipping furniture worldwide. The shipping method offered is curb side only which means that they will deliver the item to the curb of your residence and you will need to take the item inside. To receive a quote for shipping and handling please e-mail us with your zip code by clicking the "ask seller a question" link or by e-mailing us at heirloomsoftomorrow@gmail.com so that we may send you an accurate quote. All items will be delivered within 4 weeks from the date full payment is received. All payments must clear prior to being released for shipping. All items are professionally packaged by experienced furniture movers who will determine the specific packaging needs for each item. The shipping quote you will receive will include all packaging, handling, and transit fees for your item.

Smaller items will be shipped with the post office or UPS depending on their size. We reserve the right to decide which carrier to use.

If you choose to arrange for shipping on your own we are happy to accommodate this however your shipper will need to package the item for you. You will also need to make arrangements with us for the pick up to take place. We require 48 hours notice prior to pick up. There is also a $45 pick up fee for this.

Please know that insurance is not included in the shipping cost but may be purchased separately. Shipping money is not insurable and items may only be insured for the amount of the winning bid. In the event of damage, a claim must be filed with the shipping company. We will do everything we can to make sure that this process is as quick and easy as possible. If your item is lost in transit or is not repairable we will be happy to offer you a replacement item or an in-store credit to be used towards another item. Any damage or shortage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. In the event of “concealed damage” (no sighs of damage externally, but the item is damaged) we must be notified within 48 hours of the damage. Failure to report the damage within this time frame will nullify the insurance.
