As you can see, this piece offers generous storage space. Even the sides look great! By looking at the back, you can see much of the sturdy paneling that went into the making of this piece.
The corners feature hand-carved trim. Note the subtle repairs along the face. Also, the locks do not function. The walnut boasts a lovely grain and rich complexion.
Each drawer features hand-cut dovetailed joints. Turned feet support this piece. Note that the back foot is metal.
     This beautiful walnut bookcase was hand-crafted in England around 1920. Since then, the wood has developed a lovely patina, which enriches the walnut's distinct grain and deep, rich complexion. Paneled doors, carved trimming and turned feet form an elegant appeal that contributes to the piece's antique charm. Inside are four shelves and three drawers, each of which feature hand-cut dovetailed joints. While quite attractive and fully functional, this piece has sustained some wear and wobbles as a result. Also, there are some repairs on the face of the piece, the locks do not function, and one of the back feet is metal (pictured below). Nevertheless, this gorgeous walnut bookcase will continue to look beautiful and function for years to come, so don't miss your chance to make it a part of your home today!
