This dressing table offers plenty of storage space. The mahogany has developed a lovely patina. This beautiful tilting mirror has developed some spotting.
These small drawers look quite elegant. The floral carvings on this door panel were common during the Edwardian period. These brass pulls contrast beautifully with the mahogany.
Each drawer features hand-cut dovetailed joints. Shown here is the back.
     This wonderful mahogany dressing table was hand-crafted in England around 1910, during the Edwardian period. Since then, the wood has come to acquire a lovely patina, which nicely accents the high quality of the mahogany. Brass Hardware provides a nice contrast with the wood. Various carvings and grooves, as well as the turned columns on either side of the tilting mirror, provide subtle accents that adorn the piece with a fine elegance. Five drawers, each of which feature hand-cut dovetailed drawer joints, and a cabinet space provide generous storage space. The sturdy plinth base supports the piece quite firmly. Condition remains excellent, despite a little spotting on the mirror, which is inevitable of a piece with such age. Certainly, this Edwardian mahogany dressing table would make a fine addition to any home!
