The shelf is in good condition for its age, with expected signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections.There is a finial tip missing and a few dings and dents to the finials, as to be expected.The finish is mid-to-dark with color variation on the shelves and around the posts.Possibly
the shelf has been partially refinished over the years, or the original
finish has aged darker in the corner and other areas, see photos.
NOTE this is a fragile piece by the nature of its design and construction and should be treated tenderly by its owner! I
