Just arrived from England, a great antique carved bench…or stool….or storage box!  Whatever you use it for, this is another unique one-of-a-kind piece received in our most recent shipment.

~Intricately hand carved top with the initials “HCJ” and DATED 1924~

I just love finding pieces with provenance like this, providing authentication to its age and interest about the original owner “HCJ”!!

15”H x 21” x 13”;

Interior, appx. 6”H x 17 ½” x 10 ¼”.

Condition:

This bench is in good condition, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections.  Note the carved oak top is thinner than the oak sides and the top has some expected age related separations (see photos).  I always provide multiple photos that should be considered as part of the description and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding.    Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character….NOT for like-new condition!!!
