Direct from England, this listing is for a fabulous antique English oak wall hanging corner cabinet…MOST unusual, and DEFINITELY a rare find……..it is HAND carved, with INTRICATE pyrography or “pokerwork” wood burning on every surface!

The arched, open carved crown has delicate details and fancy turned finials that are also found on the lower scalloped edges as well.

The interior walls above the open shelf are completely covered in hand carved designs, and each side has a charming English beveled mirror.

Also note the lovely lower edges, scalloped and trimmed with carving throughout.

This cabinet is truly a “show-stopper” and one to create conversation and serve as a focal point in any room…………the finish is original, rich and dark and the construction is solid wood, well built by period craftsmen and artists.

Measurements:

27”H;

14 ¾” width across the flat front, left edge to right edge;

10 ¾”, back corner to outer left edge;

10 ¾”, back corner to outer right edge;

Interior closed storage, 8”H x 7” deep.

Condition:

The cabinet is in good condition for its age, sturdy and strong with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections. 

The beveled mirrors are clear and free from any cracks; please note the lock is missing from the cabinet.
