Antique English Oak Jacobean Beveled Wall Mirror

Beautiful Octagon Shape – HUGE Jacobean Trim!!

Direct from England, this listing is for a fabulous antique English beveled mirror, in a classic eight-sided octagon oak frame, with HUGE beaded trim and Jacobean wood accents on all four compass points.

The oak frame is especially thick, 1 ¼” and the beaded trim is quite large and well beyond the standard found in today’s market!!  The finish on the frame is an elegant dark finish and has a mahogany tone.

The frame is 26” x 18 ¾” x 1 ¼” THICK;

The beveled mirror is 21” x 12 ¾”.

 I recently purchased several different English antique mirrors from one of my favorite shippers, so please see my other listings if you are searching for a particular style!!

  The frame has the original paper covering over the wood back, with the hooks and hanging chain.  Of course the edges of the paper are loose, but I have left it in the original condition.  The hangers could be moved and the mirror could easily be hung vertically or horizontally.

The frame and mirror are in VERY good condition for their age, with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections.  ALL of the beaded trim is intact, which is VERY UNUSUAL, as the wood beading is often dented, dinged and missing a lot of the beads --- this one is in great shape, though, and one to be proud of!!

The mirror has VERY good reflective quality, no cracks or chips.

I only offer carefully selected quality pieces, and I NEVER offer mirrors with poor reflective quality or excessive amounts of gray/black spots or excessive cloudiness; however, mirrors that are 70+ years of age will ALL typically have at least some spotting, scratching and imperfections.

The mirrors that I sell are antique/vintage mirrors that I would feel comfortable hanging with my other antiques in my own home or office.  I always provide multiple photos and written information. I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding.

SHIPPING: Professional packaging, shipping and insurance on this item will be $35.00. (Lower 48 states only). All my antique furniture is professionally packaged for shipment by UPS, resulting in very little shipping damage in the past, but sometimes creating slightly higher shipping costs on my antiques versus other sellers. I believe it is worth the few extra dollars to get your one-of-a-kind antique delivered safely to your front door!!
