This auction is for an antique English (Chad Valley?) lt. golden yellow mohair teddy, ca:  late 20's - late 30's! SHE measures 14" in height, has her original amber eyes, and the remainder of her nose. She is jointed at the shoulders and legs and could use some help with the pads on her feet...as they were repaired at one time but not very well.

She is a pretty clean little gal and does have a need for more stuffing in her nose.  (the stuffing may have shifted with age and therefore, her nose is a little soft to the touch).  She is soft stuffed, has a non-working growler, and retains approx. 50% of her mohair.

She will come dressed in her little distressed lace coat dress that ties with a brow velvet ribbon and will come complete with her antique train case (which measures 14"long x 9.5"wide x 7.5" high) filled with ALL OF HER BELONGINGS which include:  a tiny antique rag doll, a mini statue of the Eiffel Tower, a victorian era toy wooden block, an antique demitasse porcelain teacup (marked "Main in Austria"), an old lace garter, 2 antique pictures of a lady and man, 2 decorative match covers which are hanging by her mirror, an antique handmade lace doily, her little peach satin purse with an antique lace hanky and (new) mini teddy bear, a pillow to sleep on and a bouquet of antique looking flowers.
