Full and unopened; I can open and empty to reduce shipping.


Great artwork and sharp advertising display piece. Nice bold color. Cardboard is stand up perfect. it stands 9 1/4" tall and 6 1/8" in diameter.

We have a couple hundred items or more to auction off over the next month as we continue to empty out the storage building. I guarantee we're going to be digging out some really nice and unusual stuff to offer.

We are very thorough and careful at packing. We do apply shipping insurance on every package to protect the item, you, and ourselves as the seller. The insurance cost is already included in the flat shipping rate given which is for the lower 48 states only. We are not here to make extra $ off shipping and will charge exact shipping cost if you request us to ship to other countries.

To clarify, this container is cardboard with tin top and base. Cardboard this old is very difficult to find in this new condition. This can was found warped in newspaper in the sleeping loft of a mid 1800's starter home that was converted into a summer house when the family built their home in 1865 right in front of it. We don't know the exact age of the container but that it is very old and in remarkable condition. The homestead property this was found on is awesome and the location the can was discovered is just a neat true story. The home was going to be demolished and we are selling a dozen door hardware sets that were removed from it this week also.
