Antique Fireplace Tile Bearded Man with Hat

This handsome antique fireplace tile depicts a classical bearded man with high collar and large hat.  The color is a mahogany, chocolate.  There is great depth to the glaze.  The glaze is slightly crazed and looks good.  The major fault to this piece is a large crack that someone (not me) tried to glue.  I displayed him AS IS for many years, because he still looks great!  The tile is 6" and in the frame is 8 1/4".  The back of the tile has BNY and 1TC.  It looks like a Trent tile to me.  This tile can easily be removed from the frame.  As is or restored this is a really neat tile.
