It is, more aptly deserved, a masterpiece. Made in the 1940s in the Northeastern coast of the United States, it has been lovingly preserved in its original condition. It is a combination of many woods - mahogany, flamed mahogany on the drawer and door fronts along with burl walnut, satinwood, tulip wood and boxwood. This rare commode has been finished in a warm honey tone and constructed from the Federal style of furniture, typical of its era. The piece is adorned with delicate and beautiful floral inlay on the leg columns and is complete with solid brass hardware, which also is decorated with a floral design. The clean, angular legs and spade feet remain true to the Federal style. Let this piece continued to be cherished in your bedroom, living room, den, foyer, or dining room.
