Antique French Chantilly figure of a maiden carrying a basket full of flowers on her head. Gorgeous hand painted pastel colors, and excellent molding. It does have some damage to mention. She is missing her thumb on her left hand, which is hidden from the front view. Also there is some damage to several small flowers on the basket on her head and also to the basket she is holding in her right hand. Again, the damage is hard to see, unless you look close, so this will still serve as a nice display piece. She's measures just about 14" tall, and is marked on the back base, Chantilly. A very gorgeous display! Questions welcome. Good Luck!

Questions and answers about this item
Q: what are the specks of black under her nose and on her cheeks?
A: Hi, the black specks are just part of the bisque. This sometimes happened when firing a piece. Thanks, Amy
