Antique French Carved Oak BARLEY TWIST Foot Stool

Direct from France, this listing is for an outstanding antique French oak footstool.  Decorators use these beauties as accent pieces anywhere in your home or office…… fireside, or with a favorite reading chair AND NOW they are often found on a table as accent pieces among treasured Staffordshire or majolica.

 

The stool has fabulous barley twist stretchers and turned bobbin legs………..and a beautiful carved seat ….the  beveled edges are also carved, leaving not a single area of this beautiful stool unadorned!!

It has the original, VERY dark, rich finish, with a lovely aged patina.

 

Measurements:

PETITE SIZE, Appx. 7.5”H x 11.5” x 8” .

 

Condition:

The stool is in good condition for its age, sturdy and strong with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections (SEE PHOTOS). I always provide multiple photos and written information and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding.
