DESCRIPTION

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on an Antique French Louis XVI Satinwood & Mahogany Vanity Dresser Chest of Drawers & Wall Mirror & Chair Set. I have ALL the matching pieces to this antique bedroom set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This piece is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty. The set dates back to Circa 1920 and was American made and of THE HIGHEST quality in beautiful Satinwood with Mahogany secondary woods. This piece sits on beautifully tapered and curved French cabriole legs with scrolled feet and beautifully carved Ancathus leaves scrolling down the sides. They are nicely curved and carved with floral open lattice work at the bottom and beautiful Fluer De Lis shaped motif at the bottom all in beautiful paint decorated trim. It has 5 beautifully carved drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with bronze or brass pull handles that have a nice French floral pattern etched into the castings itself. It has beautiful floral inlays on the sides in various colors. The middle of the piece has a beautiful paint decorated floral leaf design as shown in the photos. The mirror is also beautifully paint decorated and carved throughout with floral carved foliage and beautiful floral motif at the top. The sides have nice It has a beautiful and exotic Satinwood grain pattern with recessed Burl Inlays and Mahogany Secondary woods as you can see in the pictures. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today and all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape. It measures approx 52 inches wide, 29 3/4 inches high and approx 18 1/2 inches deep. The mirror is approx 28 inches wide and approx 42 inches high. The chair is approx 37 1/4 inches high, 18 inches wide, 17 1/2 inches deep and sits at approx 18 inches in height.

This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping. We Can Bring the Furniture Directly into YOUR HOME !!!

Most of the items we sell are one of a kind antiques which must be handled with care, each piece is properly protected to ensure the safety of these items during transit time. Most shipping quotes are based on Full Service Blanket Wrap Delivery. Please do not bid before getting a shipping quote, and include your zip code for the most accurate quote. We do offer other shipping options:

Crate & Freight:

Curbside delivery only, fast and secure but more expensive. For remote areas, this may be the only option. Allow 3-4 weeks for delivery and 10 business days for tracking information.


Full service blanket wrap delivery:
Most quotes are based on this method. Inexpensive, safe and includes full service in-house delivery. Allow 2-8 weeks for delivery, up to 12 weeks depending on where you are in the country. Set Up, or flights of stairs are additional.

Using your own shipper:
You may use your own shipper, however please note that Antique Furniture Depot does not provide any packing services, and will not crate, wrap or pad your item, and a $25 handling fee will apply.

Local Pick UP:
Item(s) must be picked up within 30 days of auction ending, a $25 handling fee will apply, as well as NY State Sales Tax. Our warehouse hours are M-F 10am-6pm and we normally open one Saturday per month, please give us 72 hours advance notice prior to desired pick up date. Any items left after 30 days will be assessed $25 per week, per auction for storage. For all pick ups please bring your own blankets, pads and any other materiel you may need to secure your item(s). Any items left over 120 days, if there are no prior arrangements made, then the sale will be forefeited and no refunds will be issued.

Shipping Insurance is also available as an option. Shipping insurance does not cover any scratches, dings, or minor scuffs and is only for total damage or loss of item. Please provide us with a day and evening phone number(s) so that once the items arrive in your state we can schedule your delivery in a timely manner. When the item(s) leave our warehouse you will be notified via email that the item has in fact been shipped and we will include the carriers name who will contact you directly to arrange exact delivery date and time.


If you need your item(s) by a certain time we will do our best to accommodate you. Additional charges may apply.

PAYMENT DETAILS

Payment is required within seven days of the end of an auction. We accept all major credit cards, cashier checks, money orders and personal checks but our preferred method of payment is PayPal. You may also use your credit card with Paypal. All personal checks must clear before item(s) are shipped or picked up. After the 10th Day any unpaid items may be sold to back bidders, relisted on Ebay or sold locally.

In the event there is a problem please contact us first so we can try and resolve any issues that may occur. A negative feedback is left when both the buyer and seller have exhausted ALL possible options and can not come to terms. If there is an issue or you feel that a 5 star rating is not deserved for any reason please do not leave us negative feedback without first giving us the opportunity to correct the problem. Sometimes it can be a simple miscommunication so if there is an issue please call us directly as we do get several hundred emails a day so there may be a delayed response and if you need immediate assistance please call us directly so we can try and resolve any issue there may be.
