 Antique "Oeil-de-Boeuf" Wall Clock

This variety of French antique wall clock is named after the shape of the windows that were built in Versailles during the Louis XIV reign (1643-1715).  This clock was made around 1790's. in France.

The handmade case is inlaid with pewter and mother of pearl.

The Clock has no winding key and the pendulum is missing. It is being offered for auction as parts, as a non running clock and sold in "as is" condition.

This beautiful Clock is a great find for the collector of rare museum quality European Clocks.

Clock case is: 24" Tall  X  18 1/4" Wide


There is No Reserve and this clock will be sold.

A: Movement is tight and has a lot of power, seems like it has a good probability of running with a pendulum, but I have not tried to run it. I'll ship by Post Office if it is requested by the buyer.
