Antique French Oak Ladies Lift Slant Top Writing Desk 

Direct from France, a beautiful antique ladies writing desk, with elegant style and graceful lines!!  The desk is SOLID Oak, featuring classic French scalloped legs and apron, with a beautiful lift top front.  The upper desk has an indention for storing of fountain pens and the original ink well is included!! The lower drop front has a raised edge to hold reading/writing material in place and the top opens to a generous size interior for storage, as well as a full-size drawer beneath.  All carefully constructed by craftsmen of the period, with dovetail drawer, thick beveled edges on the desktop and classic French design!!

MEASUREMENTS:

34”H x 27” x 17”;

Flat interior space, 23” x 13”.

CONDITION:

  The desk is in good condition, structurally sound and visually appealing with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections.

A key is NOT included.

The lift top has two slight separations, as to be expected over time, but nothing that harms the structure or detracts….noted here for disclosure only. There are also ink stains, as to be expected.
