Beautiful antique French vermeil
sterling silver mounted tazza or footed
serving dish, its sparkling 9"
diamond-cut crystal dish edged with an
elegant scalloped vermeil border,
finely decorated with delicate perlé
accented foliate swags and shell
motifs, on a textured ground. These
same delightful motifs adorn its
spreading circular base. Both border
and base are stamped with the French
Minerve 950 mark, and maker's mark for
Parisian master silversmith Paul FORT,
active from 1910 - 1919, rue de
Turbigo, Paris. Condition is excellent,
no damage to the high quality crystal,
and the vermeil (18k gold plated
silver) beautifully preserved. A
