The furniture maker did a great job restoring this 200-year-old Georgian corner cabinet! As you can see, this cupboard offers generous storage space. The paneled back remains in great condition.
The moulding is quite elegant. Shown here are faux nail covers. This pierced brass escutcheon does not, unfortunately, surround a functioning lock.
These strong hinges are made of solid brass. As you can see, the shelves are adjustable. Note the wood supports that attach the moulding to the main body of the piece; such a structural detail indicates fine, sturdy craftsmanship.
     This lovely solid wood corner cabinet was hand-crafted in England around 1820, during the Georgian period. The cherry exterior looks fantastic, having remained in excellent condition for so long, especially beautiful now since being recently restored by a master craftsman in England. Carefully constructed moulding and contrasting brass hardware complement the cherry quite nicely. The two doors, which unfortunately do not retain the key and thus cannot lock, open to reveal spacious interior adjustable shelving. This cherry hanging corner cabinet will be sure to remain in gorgeous condition for generations to come, and would make a fantastic addition to any home or office!
