Antique GF Bookchain Necklace/Locket Seed Pearls/Garnet

Antique - Victorian Fine Book Chain Necklace with jeweled centerpiece and Locket dangle.

Most beautiful chain links with raised trellis pattern background and raised center diamond shape.  Each link is gently folded, leaving open space between the front and back of the chain surfaces; both sides are marked with identical design.  Chain links end with a ribbed flower cup shape and then a bail to attach to the centerpiece wide "V" shape.  The chain has a hidden slide clasp that opens/closes at the front - into the centerpiece.   There are two seed pearls with colorful lustre/nacre and a faceted garnet center stone (point up).  No visible marking on the chain or centerpiece for gold metal content; most likely gold filled or rolled gold.  The back of the centerpiece has been personalized with fancy script initials MHI ?

The dangling locket is marked inside 1-20 10K GF stamped on a raised heart shape within the oval photo space.  There are two picture frames with protective coverings for photos.  The locket has both repousse' and etching - chased floral and leaves design, and a tiered stair step border.  The back has the same tiered and repousse' images as the front, but is plain in the center.

Unknown if locket is original to the necklace.  The length of the necklace is 15-1/4"; chain portion is 14-1/2 plus at least 3/4" across the centerpiece.  It is amazing that the push button slide clasp is intact and locks tight - opens easily.  Chain width is over 1/8".  The locket measures 1-1/4" x 3/4".
