Antique GLASS Seltzer BOTTLE ~ Destil Mineral Waters






For your consideration today is this antique glass seltzer bottle. It has neat graphics on front and what looks to be its original glass straw. The top is metal and does show wear ~ I couldn't get it off and didn't want to mess with it too much. Super heavy and thick, the front reads:

"DESTIL"
MINERAL WATERS
DHS Trade Mark
D.H. Smith Inc.
Yonkers, N.Y.
Registered

It measures 11" tall and 3 1/2" wide. There is wear and a couple of little "bubbles" in the glass on the back, but I could see or feel any outside chips and there aren't any cracks. The metal top is marked, "DH Smith Inc., Yonkers NY" and the base is marked with what looks like eagle wings and "The Koscherak Siphon, Made in Bohemia, Austria". It is very heavy (3 1/2 pounds before packing) and will ship FedEx Home Delivery for approx. $12.00 to $18.00 depending on your zip code. If you would like a more detailed quote, let me know your zip code. Alaska and Hawaii will ship USPS Parcel Post. Pick up at my home is always welcome too!!
