ONCE AGAIN EBAY HAS CHANGED HOW SELLERS DO BUSINESS. STARTING SEPT 22 ALL SELLERS MUST NOW SELF INSURE ALL ITEMS (LIKE WE KNOW WHAT THEY WILL END UP BRINGING?) THEY TELL US TO ADD IT TO OPENING BIDS OR HANDLING CHARGES. THE BIGGEST GRIPES BUYERS HAVE IS SHIPPING COSTS AND NOW BECAUSE OF EBAY THEY ONCE AGAIN ARE GOING UP. I HAVE DECIDED TO JUST MAKE IT A FLAT $2 BECAUSE I NORMALLY DO NOT HAVE MUCH BREAKAGE. THE OTHER THING BUYERS NEED TO KNOW IS THAT IT ONLY TAKES A FEW PEOPLE LEAVING "BAD" STARS FOR SHIPPING THAT LITERALLY TAKES MONEY OUT OF OUR POCKETS, WHICH MAKES SHIPPING COST GO UP ONCE AGAIN, IT IS A CATCH 22 AND BELIEVE ME EBAY KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. SO ALL ITEMS ARE INSURED, BY US SELLERS EVEN IF THE POST OFFICE LOSES THEM, RUNS OVER THEM AND BELIEVE ME THIS HAPPENS, I HAD A PERSON CALL ME IN UTAH WHERE THEY FOUND A PACKAGE OF MINE LAYING BESIDE THE ROAD, THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO SEE IT GOT TO WHERE IT WAS GOING. I GET PRIORITY BAGS BROUGHT TO ME BY THE POST OFFICE AND SOMETIME THERE ARE PRIORITY ENVELOPES INSIDE FROM MONTHS AGO THAT JUST NEVER GOT DELIVERED, WE ALL KNOW OF THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPENING, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW SELLERS PACK OR SHIP, YET NOW WE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE. SO AS I SAID 2010 WILL BE MY LAST YEAR ON HERE, AND THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE STAYED WITH ME ALL THESE YEARS IT HAS BEEN FUN. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THESE NEW POLICES THAN BY ALL MEANS STAND UP AND CALL EBAY AND LET THEM KNOW.
