Lovely antique table lamp, certainly suitable as a boudoir lamp. The top is a pressed glass shade with alternating panels of frosted and glass accents to the design. The shade is in very good condition (free of chips and cracks)
The lamp has a double bulb fixture that takes smaller bulbs. The base is marble. The center is also constructed of glass, and is surrounded with many hanging glass prisms. The prisms are intact, but they vary in condition. Some nicks to the prisms and some scuffs and scratches, as expected, but overall, the lamp is in good to very good condition, and is an exceptional decorative piece. The footings are brass (with a design), as are the prism hangs.
The lamp measures 16 inches tall and about a 9 inch wide of the diameter of the shade.

ABOUT SHIPPING
WE DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR LABOR, HANDLING OR MATERIALS COSTS. We take much extra care when packing. China, glass and fragile items are wrapped in extensive bubble wrap, peanuts, many times double-boxed, etc. This adds to the weight and dimensions of the final shipment, and impacts the cost. But if you look at our feedback, you will see happy buyers because their items arrived safely! We don't make money on packing and shipping. And there are times when 2 boxes are much less expensive than one big one, because of dimensional weight considerations.
Shipping prices quoted in the listing are estimates, although we make all attempts to be accurate. We are in MASS, so West Coast is the most expensive situation. It is difficult to know in advance, how big the final box is, how much it will weigh, the destination, etc. as the items are also on store display. We typically use UPS GROUND. We use USPS Priority Mail on smaller items always with tracking. Media mail is used for books.
