Completely original Handel base & shade pair with no excuses. House fresh lamp from a very fine New York state Victorian home. Lamp base has excellent patina, and color. 18 inch Handel Ice Chipped Art Glass Shade is in perfect shape. Shade is painted obverse, on the outside of the shade using sand crystilized paint, which was reserved for Handel's best lamps. Shade is signed twice, on the glass shade and on the lamp shade ring. Shade has wonderful Art Nouveau motif, not a common shade, it's unusual. Condition on both is excellent antique condition. Lamp is 24 inches tall, a big lamp, and the shade is 18 inches wide. We guarantee this lamp to be 100% Handel as listed.
