Nice old Hawaiian calabash koa wood bowl made in a traditional shape, circa 1910.

This bowl measures 5.25" tall x 6" at its widest.

There is the remnant of an old style paper label near the rim, more like the ghost of it, the type that was used from about 1910 - 1920 in Hawaii.

This bowl is very beautiful in its form and patina, and the wood has a nice grain with lots of variation.

The wood of this piece shimmers and glows in the sunlight and has an old, soft, and rich patina.

This is an old lathe-turned tourist piece from Honolulu or Oahu dating to about 1910.

This piece is in great ethnographic condition, as shown in the photographs, with various cracks and repairs around the rim.
