Fine & rare antique Danish Art Nouveau pitcher from the Herman Kahler pottery, designed by Thorvald Bindesboell, circa 1880.

Fine & rare antique Herman Kahlar Danish Art Nouveau pitcher, circa 1890. Thorvald Bindesboell only worked at the Herman Kahlar pottery only from 1890-1891, he created mainly designs in the Art Nouveau style with sgraffitto (scratched designs) or slip/tube lined pieces, much of the pottery's finest output was around this time! This pitcher is slip/tubed lined with a brown & cream all over organic design, with a very fine almost irridescent glaze. Signed to the base "HAK" (Herman August Kahler 1846-1917), condition is excellent no damage or condition issues, the pitcher is about 12" tall x 7" across. A fine & rare antique Art Nouveau Danish pitcher from the Herman Kahlar pottery circa 1890.
