1. PLEASE NOTE:
Please examine the pictures and ask questions BEFORE bidding. You are important to us and your email is usually answered within 12 hours M-F. On the weekend within 24 hours, unless otherwise noted. We are happy to help you select special pieces for your home or office.
When bidding on antiques or vintage items remember they are not new pieces and may show wear. If you want to know more details regarding your piece, please ask question. Antique and vintage pieces may have some imperfections and distress from age and use. These are characteristics of an antique. The reasons people desire to buy antiques is generally found in their uniqueness, higher quality craftsmanship and materials as well as the wonderful antique patina. No glass tops will be provided or shipped with antiques unless described in the ad. Keys are old and locks can be cantankerous. They are not guaranteed to work perfectly. Old doors sometime slightly bow without latching in place. Colors can appear differently on different brand and age computer monitors...every effort is made to show accurate colors to our customers.
2.PAYMENTS.
We accept business and personal check, Pay Pal and e-checks. Money Orders are accepted, but must clear and be inspected by our Bank to assure there is no fraud. This can take up to 14 days. BUY IT NOW Purchases MUST BE MADE BY PAY PAL UNLESS YOU HAVE MORE THAN 10 FEEDBACKS, OR YOU ARE PRE APPROVED BY OUR OFFICE. WE NEVER ACCEPT THIRD PARTY CHECKS or over payments of any kind. Please allow 5 to 7 days for personal checks to clear.
Payment is expected in our office within SEVEN days of the auction closing. Do not bid unless your are prepared to pay your winning bid and send payment within the SEVEN days.
We ask that you respond within THREE days by email to your invoice. The response should let us know payment method and when to expect payment.
3. SHIPPING: GENERAL INFORMATION
Buyer is responsible of payment for shipping, packing and insurance. Insurance is required on all purchases.
Shipping will be as quickly as possible. We usually take sold goods to our shipper within three days of receiving payment from the buyer. Professional Packing and Boxing takes several days. Monies must clear before shipping. Our goal is to ship as quickly as possible. However during very busy times it could be up to eighteen days after we receive money before items are shipped.
Shipping costs are listed on most ads on Ebay, so that you can consider this cost when you are bidding. We attempt to provide you the most economical shipping possible and no surprises.
All of our items are Professionally Packed to assure your item is delivered with the smallest possibility of damage. Insurance claims are the responsibility of the Buyer.
All items we sell requires insurance. If damage occurs keep all of the packing material and show to the carrier for insurance information.
FURNITURE
Shipping GPX or FREIGHT:
Some of our Furniture items are shipped via GPX Package Express, a terminal to terminal service of Greyhound Bus Lines or by Truck Freight terminal to terminal. Customers will pick up furniture at the GPX or Trucking Carrier nearest their home or office. Unless otherwise noted to ship to your door, all furniture quotes in our adds are for GPX shipping or for Freight terminal to terminal. Larger furniture many times must be shipped by Truck. Home delivery is available upon request for an additional charge.
For GPX Insurance: Insurance coverage requires you to open your box in front of the GPX employee at the terminal. This is critical for insurance coverage..
Phone number required: If your package is shipping by GPX, we must have a telephone number This is a requirement for shipping GPX and Trucking Companies.
