I am proud to offer this antique Iranian Wooden Pipe in very nice condition. Measures approximately 11 inches long. Shaft is made from wood and the bowl is clay or ceramic. Bowl has a minor chip. Refer to photographs. Looks to have been used. It looks as though someone fashioned old nylon to create a tight fit between the bowl and shaft. If you have any helpful information, please feel free to offer your help. It will be greatly appreciated.
This item was a part of an extensive collection consisting mostly from the late 1800's to the 1960's. The previous owner was a highly educated collector of World's Fair Items, Native Americana, and Games and was a world traveller and professional sculptor, who has since passed. Most of the information about the collection was lost with her. Considering the quality of the entire collection and the collector, this item is being offered and guaranteed authentic.
