| THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on an Antique Oil Painting in Carved Frame. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. It dates back to the earlier part of the 1900s and is signed by VERY WELL listed artist G. Vitali and is Italian School listed in the Davenport and various other art indexes. It is a original Oil on Canvas that depicts a beautiful scene of Saint Marks Square in Italy or San Marco Square. This painting was done with great detail in both color and clarity from the distinctive characteristics of building structures and beautiful figural market scene with tents set up and people walking in many different directions. The canvas is signed and also has the original plaque which has his name G. Vitali. The artist was a TRUE MASTER, because we see great care and SKILL in the painting down to its finest details. With paintings of this caliber you can see the amount of care and attention the artist put into the piece and accomplished quite a bit here. I am not an art expert and took as many pictures as I can to make your own determination as this came from a private estate on Long Island. It has mortise and tenon construction on what we believe is the original stretcher with a beautifully aged patina. There is beautiful age to the piece and it shows natural age with craquelure and some minor imperfections throughout that have some indents in the canvas in several areas that need some professional touch up. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it with its age as stated and shown in the pictures but overall its in excellent shape. This piece overall measures approx 42 inches wide and approx 30 inches high.

RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping. I will accept almost any form of payment but prefer to use PayPal. Using your own shipper:
You
may use your own shipper, however please note that
Antique Furniture Depot does not provide any packing
services, and will not crate, wrap or pad your
item, and a $25 handling fee will
apply.
Local
Pick UP:
Item(s) must be picked up
within 30 days of auction ending, a
$25 handling fee will apply, as well as NY
State Sales Tax. Our warehouse hours are M-F 10am-6pm and we normally
open one Saturday per month,
please give us 72 hours advance notice prior to
desired pick up date. Any items left after
30 days will be assessed $25 per week,
per auction for storage. For all pick ups
please bring your own blankets, pads and any other
material you may need to secure your item(s). Any items
left over 120 days, if there are no prior
arrangements made, then the sale will be forefeited and no refunds will be
issued.

On all painting shipments, insurance
will be required. Shipping insurance
does not cover any scratches, dings, or minor
scuffs and is only for total damage or
loss of item. Please provide us with a day and evening phone number(s) so that once the items arrive in your state we can schedule your delivery in a timely manner. When the item(s) leave our warehouse you will be notified via email that the item has in fact been shipped and we will include the carriers name who will contact you directly to arrange exact delivery date and time.

without first receiving a packing and shipping
quote. International bidders need to expect to pay
for any duties, customs, port charges or taxes in

longer accept Paypal under any circumstances due to recent policy
changes. We will accept all major credit cards,
wire transfers, check or money order. Any international checks of any kind will have to be confirmed and cleared prior to shipping. For ALL International Bidders we will ship to your nearest port. Please expect shipment to take a minimum of 6-8 weeks and can take longer barring any unforseen delays. Once it arrives the freight broker will call you which at that time you can either pick up or pay them direct to have it delivered to you.
