Here is an
Antique Japanese All Bisque
Kewpie-style Child Doll
Length: Approximately 6 inches (15 cm.) long.
Head is nicely painted; has blonde molded hair with pink painted bow.
The sweet face is nicely painted, with single stroke brows, red lips and nostril dots, and blue eyes.
Slightly side-glancing eyes.
Arms jointed at shoulders.
Stiff neck and hips.
Paint is fired on.
Excellent condition: No chips, cracks, repaint or repairs.
She wears a simple hand-made print dress with a pink bow. The dress is sewn on at the back of the neck, so I could not remove it. I pulled the dress up (last two photos) so that the body can be seen.
This sweet little doll comes with an appropriate-sized stand to display her standing in an upright position.

INTERNATIONAL
BIDDERS: I welcome international bidders who would want to have this doll shipped to any place in the world. But please communicate with me BEFORE BIDDING to inquire about shipping and insurance fees. The "$49.95" shown as the "international shipping charge" is not accurate - it is just an example. The actual international shipping charge would almost certainly be much less and would depend on how the doll is shipped (First Class, Priority, Express, etc.), where the doll is shipped, its packaged weight, and the value of the doll for insurance. Please click on "Ask a question" in the top right above to send me a message to ask what the shipping and insurance charge would be to ship the doll to the country where you would want it shipped. Please allow enough time for me to respond to you before the auction ends! Thanks.
