#1 - Japanese cup and saucer plate with lots of gold gilt, handpainted flowers and exotic oriental birds. This Meiji period set is in excellent condition with an almost weightless, see through, eggshell porcelain china cup. The bottom of each piece is hand signed in gold kanji over bronze paint swipes. You will find listed in my store additional cups and saucers / plates, along with a teapot and sugar bowl as well.

Cup 3 5/8" wide, 2 1/4" tall
