Vintage K.S.P Jug England, with Bird (Wood Pecker ) Motif.

Collectable Vintage Jug,beautiful blue stripes going up and down and there is a central raised motif on one side of what looks like a Wood Pecker. The base is marked with a black stamp saying K.S.P. England and there are some impressed marks under the glaze which also say KSP ENGLAND and there is a small blue hand mark. This is such a unusual piece with the Bird in the design,it looks very much like a Wood Pecker standing on the side of a branch.There is some very faint crazing down the inside on the base area and a pin head dot with a very slight stain and crazing but this does not go through to the outside,It is in excellent condition with only one very tiny shallow flake nip on the top rim edge and this could easily be rectified. Stands app 7 inches high at the pourer side and is 15 3/4 inches around the widest part of the middle area and weighs 657 grams unpacked. Stunning and unusual Vintage piece to display.
