Listed for sale is this Antique Knights Templar Masonic Ceremonial Hat.

Size label in hat reads 6-7/8.
Made by the Henderson Ames Co. of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
From our research into the original owner of this hat, J. J. Agutter, we are estimating it to be circa 1905-1915.

In Good Antique/Vintage Condition with some general signs of age as shown.
The Cross on the Hat which is a metal braid seems to be slightly off center, perhaps intentionally or not.

In response to several questions :
We believe that the hat is made of silk or a very fine cotton but Not wool. It is not marked as to exact material though and there is no moth damage found. There is some unusual wear or damage to the right (as if being worn) side and left center of the bill almost as if it has been exposed to some heat and hardened and bubbled up some but not crushed or flattened. The body of the hat doesn't appear to have ever been flattened and is in very good shape.
