Antique Lador Musical Rotating Christmas Tree Stand















 A unique old Christmas Tree Stand.  Made by Lador in Switzerland.  It is very attractive with a fine wood base with a silver colored metal casing.  The metal casing has embossed flowers around the rim.

 There is a turn key to wind it up and a lever to turn on and off.  When the lever is switched the music plays and the tree holder turns.  There is also an electrical hookup for your tree lights.

 The music box plays four different songs.  I only know the name of two:  O Christmas Tree and Silent Night.

 The actual tree holder part has its 3 original screws to hold the tree in.  This measures 2 inches wide on the interior and 3 inches deep. 

 The wood base measures 13 3/4 inches in diameter. The height of the tree stand in its entirety is 8 1/2 inches. 

 There are some dings in the metal casing, some rust spots and wear to the shiny metal.   The electric hookup is the old cloth covered type but works fine.

  Overall this Christmas Tree stand is beautiful and still works quite well.  The music is just wonderful!
